NEW YORK, Dec. 5, 2016-The New York Times Travel Show will feature a variety of exclusive discounts, hands-on activities, and other new offerings for the spa and wellness traveler.

This year's Travel Show, taking place at the Jacob K. Javits Center, will begin Friday, Jan. 27with its Trade Day, which is open exclusively to travel industry professionals. The Travel Show will be open to the general public Saturday, Jan 28, and Sunday, Jan. 29.

Returning to the Show for the second year will be the Wellness Travel Pavilion, a popular feature of the Travel Show, showcasing wellness travel brands that attendees can experience first-hand. Some of the many wellness features will include:

  • The Art of Living Retreat Center offering attendees a personal Ayurvedic Pulse Diagnosis followed by a customized Replenishing Energy Treatment

  • A panel presentation on assessing your Wellness Travel 'personality' and suggestions for 'best match' wellness vacations in 2017 led by Anne Dimon of Travel to Wellness
  • A panel of Meet the Experts who will invite attendees to ask specific questions based on personal wellness travel needs and special interests
  • Columbia SkinCare sampling their new and innovative Probiotic line of products
  • Premium Care Plastic Surgery offering free consultations and various prizes

In addition to the Wellness Travel Pavilion, The Travel Show will feature other experiences, including the 'Taste of the World' culinary pavilion, a dedicated space for family travel, and five cultural stages.
