The Brand Content Agency Continues International Expansion

NEW YORK, May 31, 2017 -The New York Times Company today announced that T Brand Studio, its brand content agency, is expanding to Hong Kong to serve new and existing clients in the Asia-Pacific region.

The team in Hong Kong will consist of content strategists, producers, editors and designers, which serve as the core experts who T Brand Studio consider essential to conceptualizing and creating any piece of brand content.

T Brand Studio Hong Kong will be overseen by the director of T Brand Studio International, Raquel Bubar, from London. Since its launch in 2015, T Brand Studio International has won numerous international awards for branded content and has grown to more than 20 team members across three international offices.

New hires for T Brand Studio Hong Kong include:

  • Reno Ong,content strategist. Mr. Ong was previously director of digital strategy at #legend, a luxury-lifestyle media startup based in Hong Kong. He also served as international homepage and audience engagement editor at TIME. He began his career as a copy editor at the Orange County Register in California, after graduating from UCLA. He is fluent in English, Tagalog (Filipino), and conversational in Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese and Fujianese).
  • Clara Lim, producer. Ms. Lim joins T Brand Studio from Singapore Press Holdings where she was executive producer in their branded content studio. She has worked with a variety of clients in the real estate, fashion and corporate categories, and speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
  • Jason Li, editor. Mr. Li was most recently deputy bureau chief at Monocle and has been a freelance writer in Asia for T Brand Studio for two years. He assisted in writing Paid Post programs for Minh Long and Hong Kong Tourism Board. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.

The Hong Kong expansion is the latest in a series of milestones for T Brand Studio as it continues to grow to meet market demand. In 2016, it established a team in Paris in addition to acquiring social influencer marketing agencyHelloSocietyand experiential design agencyFake Love.

The designer position at T Brand Studio Hong Kong is stillopen. T Brand seeks someone local to Hong Kong with experience in UX, graphic and web design.
