• The Spanish President, Mariano Rajoy, gave the company the accolade on the occasion of Spain Day at Expo 2015, the Universal Exhibition being hosted by Milan

FEDECOM, the association that represents Spain's twelve Official Chambers of Commerce, located in Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania, whose mandate is to monitor reverberation of EU initiatives with a direct impact on the world of business and support economic and trade development overseas, has awarded its 2015 Company of the Year prize to NH Hotel Group, a multinational player with 400 hotels and 60,000 rooms in 29 markets across Europe, the Americas and Africa.


Taking advantage of the Spanish President's visit to Expo 2015, the Universal Exhibition being hosted by Milan, on the occasion of Spain Day, FEDECOM has chosen to recognize and reward NH Hotel Group for its efforts to expand abroad and its commitment to excellence in service.


The quality of the Group's properties, their privileged location in the heart of the world's leading cities and the chain's tireless efforts to create experiences that surpass guest expectations are some of the strengths that have enabled the Group to build a leadership position in Europe and the Americas.

The Chairman and CEO of NH Hotel Group, Rodrigo Echenique and Federico J. González Tejera, received the award in the Spanish Pavilion of the Milan Universal Expo from Spain's President, Mariano Rajoy. The ceremony was also attended by José Luis Bonet, President of Spain's Chamber of Commerce.
