In Sendai Nikon, some employees from flood-affected Nikon (Thailand) Co., Ltd, a consolidated manufacturing subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, are working to help alternative productions. The premier was received with warm welcome by Makoto Kimura, President of Nikon, Yasuyuki Okamoto, President of Imaging Company, Tsuneo Kosaka, General Manager of Production Headquarters of Imaging Company, and Jiro Saito, President of Sendai Nikon.

Thai PM Yingluck took a tour in the assembly line of digital single reflex cameras and enjoyed conversations with employees from Nikon (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
