LUKOIL-OWNED VOLGOGRAD REFINERY CELEBRATES ITS 60th ANNIVERSARY

VOLGOGRAD - President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Governor of the Volgograd Region Andrey Bocharov presented awards to employees of OOO LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka (a 100% subsidiary of PJSC LUKOIL). The festive ceremony was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Volgograd Refinery.

The employees were granted the 'Veteran of the Company' Badges of Honor, as well as certificates of merit and letters of acknowledgment from Russia's Ministry of Energy, Governor of the Volgograd Region, and PJSC LUKOIL. ​

During his business trip, Vagit Alekperov also held a meeting to discuss development of the Volgograd Refinery. The Company's President visited new production facilities, in particular, the vacuum gasoil deep conversion complex commissioned in 2016. After the complex had been launched, the refinery increased the output of high-quality engine fuels that comply with Euro-5 environmental standards. In addition, about 100 jobs were created.
