Nordson : Sarawut Phanchaicharoen Joins Nordson as Southeast Asia Sales Manager for Packaging Film and Sheet Markets

BANGKOK, July 20, 2015: Nordson Corporation has appointed Sarawut Phanchaicharoen to be Southeast Asia regional sales manager for packaging film and sheet markets.

In this position, he will be responsible for sales of Nordson's Polymer Processing Systems (PPS) product lines, in particular Nordson Extrusion Dies Industries extrusion die systems.

"Sarawut brings fifteen years of experience in sales and engineering for precision equipment systems in the Southeast Asia region," said Grant Eekelschot, Asia Pacific commercial director for Nordson PPS. "He will provide customers with valuable support for our sheet and film die systems, as well as other Nordson PPS components for melt processing."

Prior to joining Nordson, Sarawut Phanchaicharoen was regional sales manager for Piovan Asia Pacific Ltd., a supplier of plastics auxiliary equipment. Previously he had served as an international sales engineer for SMC Corporation Ltd., a producer of pneumatic components for process automation, and as a service engineer for Pro-Med Co., Ltd., a medical device manufacturer.

Sarawut Phanchaicharoen holds an MBA from Khon Kaen University in Bangkok and a bachelors degree in electronics engineering from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, also in Bangkok.

In addition to his native Thai, he is a fluent speaker of English and Vietnamese.
