EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.-October 29, 2014-NVE Corporation has introduced 2.5 kV isolation versions of its IsoLoop® IL700-1 Series MSOP Isolators, the world's smallest isolators. The new versions are designated with a "V-1" suffix.
World's Smallest
Unique IsoLoop® IL700-1 Series MSOP Isolators are the world's smallest isolators, but until now were only available with 1 kV isolation ratings.
Exceptional Specifications
To meet the full industry-standard 2.5 kVrms isolation specification, V-1 MSOP Isolators are 100% tested to withstand 3 kVrms, which is unprecedented for such a small part.
Other V-1 series MSOP specification highlights are:
• Two channels
• 110 megabits per second
• 2.5 kVrms isolation (1 minute) per UL 1577
• 600 Working Voltage (line voltage) per VDE 0884-10
• 100 teraohm minimum barrier resistance
• -40°C to +100°C operating temperature
• 3 millimeters creepage
Available Now
Unidirectional IL711V-1E parts are in stock for immediate delivery, and the bidirectional IL712V-1E available in the first quarter of 2015. Suggested pricing is $4.50 each in quantities of 1000.
The original MSOP versions with 1 kV isolation will continue to be available for applications not requiring safety isolation.

About NVE
NVE is a leader in the practical commercialization of spintronics, a nanotechnology that relies on electron spin rather than electron charge to acquire, store and transmit information. The company manufactures high-performance spintronic products including sensors and couplers that are used to acquire and transmit data. NVE has also licensed its spintronic magnetoresistive random access memory technology, commonly known as MRAM.

Statements used in this announcement that relate to future plans, events, or performance are forward-looking statements that are subject to certain risks and uncertainties including, among others the risk factors listed from time to time in our filings with the SEC, including our Annual Report on Form 10-K and other reports filed with the SEC.
NVE Corporation develops and sells devices that use spintronics, which is a nanotechnology that relies on electron spin to acquire, store, and transmit information. The Company manufactures spintronic products, including sensors and couplers that are used to acquire and transmit data. The Company has also licensed its spintronic magnetoresistive random access memory technology (MRAM). Its parts are primarily used in industrial, scientific, and medical applications, as well as the Industrial Internet of things. The Company's products include sensors, couplers, and MRAM products. Its sensor products detect the strength or gradient of magnetic fields and are often used to determine position or speed. Its spintronic couplers combine a giant magnetoresistance (GMR) sensor element and a microscopic coil. MRAM uses spintronics to store data. It combines the speed of static random-access memory (SRAM), the density of dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) and the nonvolatility of flash memory.
