SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ketchum, a leading public relations agency, today announced a key addition to its sustainability and corporate social responsibility offering in senior vice president Cheryl Damian. A 15-year veteran of the public relations industry, Damian will relocate from New York to San Francisco where she will play a pivotal role in counseling Ketchum West clients and continuing to grow the firm's sustainability practice.

Prior to joining Ketchum, Damian led corporate responsibility and sustainability strategy at Fenton Communications and Cone Communications. From Kate Spade & Company to Save the Children to Warner Bros. to the National Wildlife Foundation, Damian has counseled both corporate and nonprofit organizations on shaping their corporate responsibility platforms and driving the social change that makes sense for their business and their stakeholders.

"Cheryl brings exactly the right combination of foresight, instinct and real-life experience that makes corporate responsibility programs meaningful," said Dave Chapman, partner and director, Ketchum West. "We're thrilled to have her talent as a leader in our rapidly growing sustainability and CSR offering, and we only see more opportunity in this area with Cheryl's deep experience."

Damian earned a B.A. in English literature and a B.S. in mass communications from Boston University.
