In January, monthly gas sales volume totaled 891 million cubic meters, up by 10.7% from the previous year. The sales profiles in each customer category are as shown below.
[Residential]
The gas sales volume increased by 7.1% from the previous year, due to lower temperatures of the air and water which caused hot water and heating demand increase.
[Non-Residential - Industrial]
The gas sales volume increased by 15.2% from the previous year, due to newly created demand.
[Non-Residential - Commercial]
The gas sales volume increased by 4.9% from the previous year, due to longer meter reading schedules and lower temperatures of the air which caused heating demand increase.
[Non-Residential - Public and Medical]
The gas sales volume increased by 8.1% from the previous year, due to longer meter reading schedules and lower temperatures of the air which caused heating demand increase.
