Hydrogen, the new energy for the automotive industry

Taking opportunity of COP 23 in Bonn, the 18 members of the Hydrogen Council unveil a McKinsey study quantifying the vision of the role of Hydrogen by 2050. According to this study, hydrogen could potentially power 10 to 15 million cars as of 2030.

'Hydrogen Scaling up'

The study, entitled 'Hydrogen scaling up' outlines a comprehensive and quantified roadmap to scale deployment and its enabling impact on the energy transition. Hydrogen could then account for almost one-fifth of total energy consumed by 2050.
