Milan, February 5th, 2016 - Prada is pleased to announce expansion in the Pacific Northwest with an opening at The Shops at The Bravern in Bellevue, Washington outside of Seattle.

The space, designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, covers a total area of approximately 480 square metres spread over two floors and houses the women's and men's ready-to-wear, leather goods and footwear collections.

On the ground floor, the façade is clad in black Marquinia marble and is characterised by polished steel profiles framing the entrance and the spacious windows, while on the first floor it is highlighted by a backlit white canvas curtain enclosed in a crystal box. An external marble portal completes the store's façade, entrance and windows, further embellishing the setting.

The ground floor, entirely dedicated to the men's collections, is defined by a succession of spaces that wield masculine materials and finishes: ebony floorboards and walls. The coloured saffiano leather on the display counters and the light cotto-coloured leather sofas create an interplay of reflections and graphic forms, accented by sparkling crystal and polished steel display cases along the walls.

An elegant black marble staircase, wrapped around a green fabric-clad volume, leads to the upper floor.

The area that houses the women's leather goods collections is defined by green fabric-clad walls with niches exalting the product display.

From here, a portal leads to a more intimate space, dedicated to women's ready-to-wear and footwear collections.

The black-and-white marble chequered flooring - a legacy of Prada's identity worldwide - beige carpeting, steel and crystal display counters, and green velvet sofas create a sophisticated atmosphere.
