Prudential celebrates the 24th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act and recommits its support of people with disabilities

The 24th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act is Saturday, July 26 - a great time for Prudential to restate its long-standing commitment to people with disabilities.

At Prudential, diversity and inclusion are embedded in all aspects of talent management and leadership. Both are an integral part of the way we do business. In fact, our Group Insurance and Individual Life Insurance businesses are helping to meet the needs of people with disabilities, including through our Special Needs program.

Internally, our business resource group Abled and disAbled Associates Partnering Together (ADAPT) supports the personal and professional development of its members, and is an important partner that not only helps us identify new talent, but also provides training around employing and accommodating individuals with disabilities in the workplace. Our partnership with the National Organization on Disabilities reaffirms the importance of this internal advocacy, while also exposing us to best practices on inclusiveness.

Our efforts to propel our businesses forward in today's global marketplace demands that we draw talent from the widest pool. We salute the efforts of all companies and organizations that recognize the value of this important community and provide equal opportunity and access to individuals with disabilities.

Prudential is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
