PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (Matahari) received Digital Marketing Award 2013 for department store category. Digital Marketing Award is an appreciation for the brands that are actively and successfully obtain an excellent performance in digital world. Digital Marketing Award is issued by Marketing Magazine, Digital Marketing and an independent pollster, Survey One. There are two types of appreciation, which are appreciations for the best brands of digital product, and appreciation for the companies with the best website.

Matahari received Digital Marketing Award 2013 as a company with the best website for department store category. The valuation is based on the survey of 300 observers with the capability to evaluate the website. The observers are including executives (40%), students (30%) and journalists (30%). The evaluation is based on six criteria: content, context, community, customization, commerce and connection. The top two companies in each category will receive Digital Marketing Award 2013.

On Thursday, 7 November 2013 located on Mulia Hotel, Senayan, Jakarta, Dharsana Sulistijo as Head of Marketing of PT Matahari Department Store Tbk received Social Media Award 2013 from Kusnadi Asvaini as Head of Marketing Online of Marketing Magazine. Digital Marketing Award is a "recognition for future business", and Matahari has shown its excellence to compete in the future.
