Mr. DiRisio has been a member of the board since 2011 and has played the lead role in building PSEG's involvement with and participation in ASP NJ programs. For over a decade, dozens of PSEG employees have given their time and expertise to young people through the Development School for Youth (DSY) leadership training program, conducting business workshops and supervising summer internships at PSEG's Newark headquarters.

"Derek has a very special passion for partnering with youth who live in Newark and New Jersey's toughest neighborhoods and helping them to grow and develop," said Gloria Strickland, City Leader, ASP NJ. "He inspires everyone - our young people, other PSEG volunteers and partners in the broader business community."

The PSEG Foundation is a leading funder of ASP NJ programs, including the Scott Flamm Center for Afterschool Development, ASP NJ's 9,000 square foot, state-of-the-art community center in downtown Newark.

"I'm very excited to have Derek serve as co-chair," added Christopher Street, director, ASP NJ. "Derek has a deep understanding of the importance of afterschool development across Newark and the state of New Jersey and the impact caring people in the business community can make. I am pleased to work with him to broaden our impact in the area."

Mr. DiRisio has been appointed to a three-year term as co-chairman. He and the PSEG Foundation will be honored for ten years of partnership at the ASP NJ annual benefit dinner in November.
