Quixant : ups the game at G2E

Quixant, the leading supplier of PC-based gaming technology, is pleased to announce another exceptional showing at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) which was held in Las Vegas, NV October 3rd - 5th. Quixant showcased its high-end gaming platforms, monitors and button decks designed to meet the needs of the gaming industry.

G2E is the world's premier international gaming trade show and conference, where companies from all around the world present their newest gaming products and technology. Quixant introduced the QX-60, which features the latest AMD Embedded R-Series SoC processor. AMD offers unparalleled graphics performance combined with OS support for Windows Embedded 7, 8 and 10, as well as Linux.

Displayed at Quixant's booth was the ultra-high-end, all-in-one gaming platform - the QMax-1 - that can run nine monitors independently. To augment the integrated graphics, it can be configured with a range of optional discrete GPU options using AMD's Embedded Radeon E8870 or E9260 GPUs which are interchangeable.

Quixant's field tested Gaming Ecosystem® concept continues to play a crucial role within the company's success, as it has been field tested and well developed over many years. The Gaming Ecosystem® provides the same environment for the game software on all Quixant platforms, enabling easy transfer from system to system. It is an integral part of the Quixant proposition.

Quixant exhibited a Technology Area for game developers showcasing several areas of the Gaming Ecosystem®. It included ALCE, a debugging and tracing tool to expedite development on Quixant's platforms and diagnosis of faults, and the QxVDR solution, which combines an advanced hardware-accelerated video decoding engine with the ability to overlay alpha channel content and create bitstreams to drive external LED lighting.
