Effective immediately, all new and renewal Employment Pass (EP), Dependent Pass (DP) and Social Visit Pass (SVP) will be subjected to the following charges before the online submission:

Type of pass	Charges per application (MYR)	GST (MYR)	Total (MYR)
Employment Pass	300.00	18.00	318.00
Dependent Pass	70.00	4.20	74.20
Social Visit Pass	70.00	4.20	74.20

At the moment, no charges are applicable to Professional Visit Pass (PVP) and auxiliary applications such as Transfer of Endorsement (TEP) and cancellation etc.

Mode of payment

The payment is to be made online via credit card or internet banking and submitted as part of the application submission through ESD online

Reasons of implementing the charges

To enhance the facilities and provide better service in processing the work/dependant passes on a sustainable basis.

Impact

All companies are now required to remit this additional payment before online submission is made to avoid delays in processing.
