Schroders is pleased to announce that Bill Casey and Nick Kissack, who join from Janus Henderson on 5 February 2018, will become co-managers of the Schroder UK Alpha Plus Fund with effect from 1 March 2018 (subject to FCA approval).

Philip Matthews, who currently manages the Schroder UK Alpha Plus Fund, will focus solely on managing the Schroder UK Growth Fund plc. Bill and Nick will work with Philip with immediate effect to ensure a smooth transition before taking over the fund.

Rory Bateman, Head of UK and European Equities said:
'We are delighted to have Bill and Nick join the Schroders team. They are extremely high-calibre investors with excellent experience in UK and European equities and are well placed to manage the Schroder UK Alpha Plus Fund. Their style of investing completes our investment line-up and further strengthens our UK equities offering to our clients.

'Bill and Nick's appointment provides us with the opportunity to allow Philip Matthews to focus solely on the Schroder UK Growth Fund plc, we believe this will be a great advantage for Philip and our clients.'
