[For immediate release] SZI Announces Unaudited Contracted Sales for July 2016

(12 August 2016 - Hong Kong) Shenzhen Investment Limited ("SZI" or the "Group", SEHK stock code: 604.HK) announces the Group's unaudited contracted sales for July 2016. The Group's contracted sales for this month amounted to approximately RMB 540 million, representing a decrease of 82.8% MoM and a decrease of 84.6% YoY. The contracted sales area was approximately 40,188 sq.m., a decrease of 63.4% MoM and a decrease of 72.1% YoY. For the first seven months of 2016, the Group recorded a total contracted sales of approximately RMB 14.571 billion, representing a remarkable increase of approximately 30.7% YoY, and the total contracted sales area was approximately 631,034 sq.m., up 0.74 % YoY. The average selling price was approximately RMB 23,091 per sq.m.. As at the end of July, the Group has achieved 78.8% of the contracted sales target for the year.

In July, no new projects were put to the market for sale and revenues mainly came from the sale of remaining units in UpperHills and Shumyip City. Starting from August, the Group will open new launch units for sale. On 6 August, additional units in the Shumyip Dongling project were launched and met overwhelming response, with more than 90% of the units launched being sold on the first day of selling at an average selling price exceeding RMB70,000 per sq. m., and recorded a total contracted sales of approximately RMB 300 million. It is expected that in end September, 30,000 sq. m. of apartments in the Tanglang City project will be launched to the market. On the other hand, we are proceeding with the communication and negotiation with major clients for the industrial building of the UpperHills project. We will spare no effort to achieve the contracted sales target of RMB18.5 billion for the year.
