Davis Love III & IV Bring a Father/Son Perspective to Alabama Power's Junior Clinic Tuesday at Barbasol Championship in Opelika

Birmingham, Ala. - July 14, 2017 - Major champion Davis Love III and his son Dru will be hosting a golf clinic for more than 150 children from the Opelika/Auburn area on Tuesday, July 18 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Grand National. The Junior Clinic is sponsored by Alabama Power and the Barbasol Championship. Father and son will compete in this year's Barbasol Championship with 130 other PGA TOUR professionals.

During the interactive clinic, the children will learn about the game of golf and how it promotes core values, including honesty, integrity, responsibility, courtesy, sportsmanship and respect. The Alabama Power Junior Clinic will be at 10 a.m. on the Driving Range at RTJ Grand National. The Barbasol Championship will be played July 20-23.

'Alabama Power is proud to support the Junior Clinic, which will showcase the important lessons that golf can provide our children,' said Leslie Sanders, vice president of Alabama Power's Southern Division. 'We're excited to have David Love III and David Love IV with us to help host the event.'
