DALLAS, April 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) announced today that the Company and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), the Union that represents Southwest's Material Specialists, have finalized the language from the Agreement In Principle reached in early March. Union leaders said they will submit the tentative agreement to members for a vote.

Southwest Material Specialists are responsible for the Company's technical operations inventory management across the system. Union leaders said the full tentative agreement will be presented to members in the coming days. A date for the contract vote was not released.
