STRABAG to realise Triiiple building construction project in Vienna: three 100-metre-high residential towers

Vienna, 17 July 2018---STRABAG, Austria's largest construction company, will construct three residential towers (Triiiple building construction project) in Vienna. According to the contract awarded by SORAVIA and ARE DEVELOPMENT, three 100-metre-high towers will be constructed close to Vienna's city centre; the contract value amounts to € 110 million. While the Towers 1 and 2 will house 480 owner-occupied flats, Tower 3 will house 670 micro-apartments. Construction works are scheduled to start in August 2018 and to be completed by summer 2021.

The towers will be constructed as reinforced concrete skeleton structures. Protruding structures constitute a huge technical challenge. As a response to this challenge, massive scaffolds will be constructed to guarantee load transfer during construction.
