Cleantech consists of technologies and services that use natural resources, energy, water and raw materials in the aim of improving efficiency and productivity. SUEZ, an industry player and sponsor through its SUEZ Ventures investment fund, will be attending the Cleantech Forum Europe, which will be held in Lyon, France from 11 to 13 April. Discussions will focus on the convergence between cleantech and industry innovations.

On Tuesday 12 April, participants will discover the innovations and solutions from SUEZ and its partners:

  • 10:15 - 10:30 a.m.: Intervention of Thierry Mallet, Group Senior VP Innovation, Marketing and Business Performance. Salle de la Corbeille.

What is the role of innovation for an international company like Suez? What are the tools implemented? What does Open Innovation mean? How do we work with our technological partners? He will address all of these questions and give concrete examples.

The Forum's goals

The Cleantech Forum Europe brings together the key cleantech innovation players in Europe: startups, corporates and investors. It has four goals: to bring together this players in order to discuss innovation; to encourage visitors to reflect upon and familiarise themselves with cleantech innovations; to promote network development; and to put investors in contact with entrepreneurs.

Promising start-ups

SUEZ Ventures teams will be present at the Forum, as two companies of its portfolio, COGEBIO and Intent Technologies. Find them in the exhibition area.

COGEBIO, which was founded in 2009 by three founders with a wealth of industrial experience, specialises in biomass energy recovery through gasification.

Intent Technologies developed the first platform to share equipment operation and performance data in standardised real time with service providers in collective housing developments. The equipment monitored includes boilers, lifts, mechanical ventilation, and water meters, etc.
