Enertime, a French CleanTech company specializing in industrial energy efficiency and the production of geothermal and biomass energy, announces that it has signed a 3.8 ME contract with SUEZ for the installation of a 1.7 MWe ORC.

This installation is designed to generate electricity by recovering the heat produced by the Carrières-sur-Seine waste-to-energy plant during periods when this heat is not used in the district heating network.

An ORC can recover the heat contained in the fumes from incineration furnaces and convert it into electricity. To do this, a heat exchanger is installed on the flue gas.

Commissioning of the machine is scheduled for April 2025.
