2016 Annual General Meeting (AGM) Results
Subsequent to the ASX Announcement on 22 September 2016 outlining the 2016 AGM resolution results (summary of proxy votes cast on each poll), Suncorp has recently been advised that a custodian error occurred in processing 23,621,827 votes resulting in these votes being incorrectly recorded as "AGAINST" Resolution 1 (Remuneration Report). The beneficial shareholder of these votes has confirmed that they were lodged with their custodian as "FOR" Resolution 1.
If these 23,621,827 votes had been processed by the custodian correctly, the resolution results of the Company's 2016 AGM would have been:
