SYRAH BOARD APPOINTMENT ____________________________________________________________________________________________

Syrah Resources Limited (ASX: SYR) ("Syrah" or "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Lisa Bahash as an independent Non-Executive Director. Ms Bahash has over 30 years experience including senior management positions in the automotive Original Equipment (OE), Tier 1 supplier and aftermarket channels.

Her most recent role was Senior Vice President, Automotive and Transportation with Jabil Inc. (Jabil), a leading electronics manufacturing services company, where she led the automotive business. Prior to Jabil, Ms Bahash was the Group Vice President and General Manager, Original Equipment for Johnson Control's Power Solutions business, one of the world's largest automotive battery manufacturer, responsible for all OE and technology strategies including advanced energy storage and Lithium-Ion technologies. She also served as President and CEO of Ride Control LLC (Gabriel) which operates in both the aftermarket and OE segments.

Ms Bahash holds a Masters of Science in Engineering Management from Wayne State University, USA and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, USA.
