T&D Holdings, Inc. (President: Tetsuhiro Kida) of the T&D Life Group hereby announces that it acquired treasury stock under the provision Article 156 of the Companies Act of Japan, as applied pursuant to Article 165, Paragraph 3 of the same, as follows.

This concludes the acquisition of treasury stock in accordance with the resolution made at the board of directors meeting held on February 14, 2017.

1. Type of shares to be acquired : Shares of common stock

2. Total number of acquired shares : 2,755,000 shares

3. Total amount of acquisition : 4,999,996,050 yen

4. Period of acquisition : From February 15, 2017, to February 28, 2017, on the basis of execution date

5. Method of acquisition : Open-market repurchase by the trust method
