Tatneft' imeni V D Shashina : BMZ of JSC TATNEFT Is the Best in Innovation

A forum of  innovators and inventors with participation of Lenar Gaysin, Chairman of the Republican Council of  Inventors and Innovators Society of the Republic of Tatarstan, was held at the Bugulma Mechanical Plant (BMZ) of JSC TATNEFT.
The Chairman of the Republican Council of the Inventors and Innovators Society highly praised the contribution of the BMZ workers into rationalization and innovation activities pointing out that the Bugulma Mechanical Plant is the best engineering enterprise of the Republic in rationalization and invention. He presented an Honorary Certificate of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic for conscientious and fruitful work in favor of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The event summed up rationalization and inventive works results of the plant subdivisions in the first half of 2014 and also set goals and objectives for the second half of the year.
According to Mikhail Shvetsov, Director of BMZ, in the first half of 2014 the Plant workers filed 295 rationalization proposals, which was 9 percent higher than in 2013. The number of innovators increased to 361 persons, including 170 young innovators. The plant workers put into production 179 rationalization proposals. 2 applications were filed for inventions and 1 application for the utility model. Two patents for inventions and one patent for a utility model were received. Today almost 30 % of the products yielded by the BMZ are manufactured with application of new engineering developments.
The results of implementing the "lean production" methods  were also considered at the forum. The best representatives of the Plant were awarded breast badges and diplomas for their performance.
