The meeting of the employees of the JSC TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex enterprises was held in Nizhnekamsk (Republic of Tatarstan), which summarized the results of the activities and execution of the provisions of the Collective Agreements in 2014 and set the tasks for the current year. 

The event was attended by Artem Sidorov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aydar Metshin, Head of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District, Gumar Yarullin, JSC TATNEFT's Trade Union Chairman and Anvar Vakhitov, Director of "Tatneft-Neftekhim" Management Company.

The main report on the results of operations in 2014 was presented to the conference participants by Anvar Vakhitov, Director of OOO "Tatneft Neftekhim" Management Company. In 2014 the enterprises of the JSC TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex manufactured 11 million 636 thousand tires, including 745 thousand SSC tires, produced 120.5 thousand tons of technical carbon and 332 sets of pressing molds. All in all the enterprises sold more than 12 million   tires. 

As part of the investment program, the JSC "Nizhnekamskshina» carried out revamping of the static unbalance line  and erected machine tool stations for dyeing non-vulcanized tires and checking the dynamic unbalance. Thanks to the new modern six-position stand, the Kama Scientific and Technical Center handled the challenges related to the scope of benchmark testing.

An important step in the reorganization of the tire factories was the completion of the transfer of truck and agricultural tires production from JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" to OOO "Nizhnekamsk Truck Tire Factory" in 2014. The technological process equipment was overhauled and modernized.

Preparatory works on the new project of commissioning the facility to rehabilitate solid steel cord tires OOO "KaMaRetread" are at the completion stage. First SSC tires were recovered in the beginning of February together with the experts from Marangoni S.p.A partner company.

In 2014, OOO "Kama" Scientific and Technical Center and JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" completed a number of homologation projects for Ford cars. The Company received engineering approval on 13 tires for cars Ford, LADA Largus of AVTOVAZ, KAMAZ and LIAZ. The works on Volkswagen project were fully completed. In 2014, the Company started mass production of 53 passenger car and light truck tires, 6 sizes of truck tires and SSC tires. The plans for 2015 include the development of 78 tire models.

The social policy of the TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex enterprises was developing in several directions, which included provision of decent conditions of work and rest, disease prevention and treatment of the personnel and provision of housing. During the year, the Company's administration and   Trade Union Committee effectively carried out joint activities on occupational safety and health protection, as well as cultural and sports activities. Programs of the voluntary health insurance and the non-governmental pension coverage of the employees were fulfilled in their entirety.

The main priorities of the TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex include environmental responsibility, environmental protection and rational environment conservancy. The amount of more than RUR 243.5 million was spent in 2014 for environmental activities. The work efficiency in the area of the production environmental safety was confirmed by successful results of the environmental inspection audits of the tire manufacturing factories and victories in topical contests. JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" was a winner of the Xth All-Russian Contest "Leader of environmental activity in Russia in 2014" and was also recognized as the best company in the All-Russian contest "100 best enterprises and organizations of Russia - 2014" in the nomination "The best enterprise in the field of ecology and environmental protection activities".

The main objectives set up for 2015 include achievement of the planned figures of  products output and sales, further modernization of the factories, starting a mass production of new tire models, expanding the range of the carbon black new grades production, implementation of  "lean production" tools, as well as further development of rationalization and inventive activities. The Tire Complex enterprises should achieve the established indicators of improving labor productivity and product quality, implement the anti-crisis program activities and resolve the import substitution challenges.

Artem Sidorov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, expressed appreciation of the Petrochemical Complex's environmental activities pointing out that they were implemented in a timely manner and in the full  volume.

Aydar Metshin, Head of Nizhnekamsk Municipal District, familiarized the event participants in his speech with the social and economic programs implemented in the municipality, and praised the Petrochemical Complex's staff efforts and the level of the employees' social protection.

The delegates adopted the resolution on the outcome of the conference. All the commitments stipulated in the Collective Agreements of the Petrochemical Complex enterprises were considered to be entirely fulfilled. The Collective Agreements for 2015 were adopted as amended and supplemented and with preservation of all the social benefits and guarantees.

At present, the Petrochemical Complex of TATNEFT produces more than 300 tire items, which are not any inferior in quality versus the worldwide known brands, and 14 grades of carbon black. The geography of the tire sales includes 42 countries of the world and 144 cities of Russia. Every fifth Russian motorist is using tire brands of Nizhnekamsk production. The range of the tire products is represented by three trademarks: KAMA, KAMA EURO and Viatti. The tires of the JSC TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex are delivered to the vehicles assembly lines of such manufacturers as AvtoVAZ, GM-AvtoVAZ, KAMAZ, GAZ Group, NEFAZ, Sollers, Volkswagen Group Rus and other automakers.

The high level of the production organization is evidenced by the fact that the TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex enterprises passed the certification audit for compliance with the international standards ISO 9001 under the corporate certification system.

In 2014, the tire products of the JSC TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex were recognized winners of such contests as "100 best goods of Russia", "Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan" in the category "Products for industrial purposes". OOO "Nizhnekamsk Truck Tire Factory" was a runner-up of the contest for the prizes of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan for quality.
