Tatneft' imeni V D Shashina : Meeting of the TATNEFT Tire Manufacturing Complex Enterprises Workforce

Nizhnekamsk hosted a conference of the JSC TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex labor collectives on the work results in the first half of 2014.
It was attended by Anwar Vakhitov, Director of OOO "Tatneft-Netekhim" Management Company, Andrey Zimin, Deputy Chairman of the TATNEFT Company's Trade Union Committee and Albert Sagdeev, Chairman of the Combined Primary Trade Union Organization of "Tatneft-Netekhim" Management Company, and Executive Directors of the Tire Manufacturing Complex Enterprises. In the course of the conference production and economic activity results of the TATNEFT's Tire Complex were summed up as well as those of implementing collective agreements of enterprises in the first half and future challenges were uutlined.
According to Anwar Vakhitov, Director of OOO "Tatneft-Netekhim" Management Company, the tire manufacturing factories produced 5 million 564 thousand tires during 6 months in 2014. JSC "Nizhnekamsktekhuglerod" produced 59 thousand tons of carbon black. The specialists of the "Kama" Scientific and Technical Center put 15 tire sizes into mass production. Homologation works were completed on 7 tires for domestic and foreign auto makers with production facilities located within the territory of the Russian Federation.
In the frame of JSC TATNEFT Group investment program there are important projects being implemented at the Tire Complex enterprises. A non-vulcanized tire painting machine was purchased for JSC "Nizhnekamskshina"; engineering applications were worked out for the supply of a steel cord cutting and mating line and X-ray unit. A six-position tire-testing stand was purchased for the "Kama" Research and Technical Center. Upgrading of the Complex enterprises equipment was performed.
The interim results of implementing process management, lean production means and automation projects at the Tire Complex enterprises were analyzed at conference.  Lean production tools   are being successfully implemented at all the enterprises of the Complex.
The Tire Complex of TATNEFT was the first among the tire industry enterprises, delivering their products to auto manufacturing plants in Russia, to have passed the certification audit for compliance with the international standards under the corporate certification scheme.
The new equipment and technologies allow the Petrochemical Complex producing quality products. Five types of tires won prizes at the contest "Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan". The tire manufacturing factories receive grateful citations from automakers for     their products.
The most important task of the Petrochemical Complex management is the implementation of social programs. A lot of attention was paid in the first half of the year to improvement of the workers' health. The work was continued on the reconstruction of the children's health improvement camp "Chayka" (Seagull) and capital repair of the amenity spaces.   Housing provision for the workers is being successfully carried out.
Albert Sagdeev, Chairman of the Combined Primary Trade Union Organization of "Tatneft-Netekhim" Management Company, presented to the audience details on the implementation of collective agreements, the outcome of the meetings held in the labor collectives of the enterprises.
Andrey Zimin, Deputy Chairman of the TATNEFT Company's Trade Union Committee, informed the audience about the performance of TATNEFT Company the first half of 2014. At the end of his speech he thanked the workers of the Petrochemical Complex for fruitful work and wished them further success.
