JSC TATNEFT continues developing promising technologies for reservoir pressure maintenance (RPM) aimed at reducing energy costs and increasing production efficiency.
The Company continued to work on injection wells downhole equipment protection against high pressure and corrosion as well as on optimization of the reservoir pressure maintenance processes.
199 new injection wells were commissioned in 2014: the plan was fulfilled 112.4%. A dual injection technology was implemented in 106 injection wells. Since the beginning of the technology application it had been installed in 644 wells with additional production resulting from the dual injection operations amounting to 1,481.3 thousand tons.
In the frame of implementing the ongoing Company's program for protection of downhole injection wells equipment against the effects of high pressure and corrosion damage, the injection wells' production casing strings were protected in 508 injection wells by running M1-X packers. The number of the injection wells equipped with M1-X packers reached 4578 and 65.3% of the active injection wells stock are equipped with various designs packers.
For the purpose of the downhole oilfield equipment corrosion protection in the injection wells TATNEFT use anticorrosive tubing. In 2014 polymer-coated tubing strings were installed in 397 injection wells operating with waste and formation water. Protected tubing strings had been installed in 6,727 injection wells operating with waste and formation water since the beginning of the program implementation. Protection of the existing stock of waste and produced water wells amounted to 89.8%.
