JSC TATNEFT was awarded a Diploma of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation for the "Technology of dual completion and production of two or more layers through one well".
The Company received the prize at the "Innovations in the hydrocarbon sector" exhibition held in the framework of the XIth Forum of Russia and Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation with participation of the Heads of the States in the city of Atyrau. TATNEFT was also was awarded a Diploma of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by the heads of the key ministries and departments, heads of a number of constituents of the Russian Federation and the regions of Kazakhstan, representatives of big business, scientists and experts in the field of innovations in the oil and gas sector.
The Interregional Cooperation Forum is an important tool for development of partnership between Russia and Kazakhstan. The topic of the forum and exhibition was innovations in the hydrocarbon sector. The exhibition area amounted to 1.1 thousand square meters containing   60 stands in four areas: innovations to increase hydrocarbon production, transportation and refining, equipment and facilities and environmental safety.
The display of TATNEFT was one of the 12 VIP- stands included into the travel itinerary of the heads of the states: Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev, Presidents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan respectively.
The technology of dual completion and production presented by the Company allows exploiting simultaneously the targets with different reservoir characteristics and properties. Optimization of the targets operation allows increasing the productivity of the well and reducing the amount of production drilling.
A seminar "Implementation of innovative solutions and high-tech projects in the area of production, transportation and processing of hydrocarbons" was arranged in the frame of the forum, which included two panel sessions on "Innovations in the area of increasing  production of hydrocarbons" and "Transportation and refining". A meeting of the Business Council of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries and a plenary session were held and documents on cooperation were signed.
