Tatneft' imeni V D Shashina : TATNEFT is a Winner of the Annual Reports Contest

JSC TATNEFT became the winner of the annual reports contest conducted in the frame of the XIIIth"Sochi-2014" International Investment Forum.
The Company was named the best in the special nomination of the Russian Institute of Directors for "Effective management of corporate assets." This nomination belongs to one of the most prestigious and honorable categories, because it reflects the overall level of the corporate management.
Vladimir Verbitskii, Deputy Director of the Russian Institute of Directors, presented the  nomination diploma and commemorative token to Viktor Gorodnii, Deputy General Director - Head of JSC TATNEFT's Property Department, at the awarding ceremony held on September 20.
The prize was awarded for the annual report of 2013 submitted by the JSC TATNEFT, which according to the contest's expertsopinion was distinguished "by proper corporate analytics, reflecting the steps of consistent implementation of the Company's development strategic initiatives and dynamics of the asset management based on the key points of growth". The high level of information disclosure and the report's focus on the interests of all the shareholders, business partners and the investment community as a whole were also mentioned as the most important aspects of the JSC TATNEFT's corporate report value.
JSC "Gazprom", JSC "NOVATEK",  JSC "Mining and Metallurgical Company" Norilsk Nickel", JSC "VTB", "Intesa" Bank, JSC "Sberbank", JSC "Russian Railways", JSC NC "Bashneft", ZAO "Raiffeisenbank" and others were also distinguished in the various nominations of the contest.
The Annual Reports Contest held in September as part of the  major International Investment Forum in Sochi is one of the most authoritative expert sites and "gives a good start" to other contests   and ratings of corporate reporting to be held  in October and November.
This contest was founded in 2004 and is independent. The Contest's Experts' Council includes representatives of the Federal Service for Financial Markets of Russia, leading experts of the Russian Institute of Directors, NAUFOR, Expert RA Rating Agency, "RZB" Publishing House, KPMG Audit Company, Moscow Stock Exchange, "Alor" Company, IFD "Business Express", as well as representatives of the Krasnodar region administration.
The contest aims and objectives are include sharing experiences, expanding the boundaries of interaction and networking of companies in the development of the domestic corporate practice. 84 companies of national leading economy branches:  metallurgy, power generation, crude oil production and refining, agriculture, transport and financial sector, had submitted their reports to the contest this year. The competent jury determined the winners in 15 nominations. Each report was graded by the experts' council under more than 20 indicators.
TATNEFT Company used to become the Contest winner in the industry nomination "Energy" and had special awards many times.
JSC TATNEFT annually formulates the key results of the corporate development and discloses them in details in the content of the annual report, following the principles of information disclosure and improving the corporate practice based on advanced international standards.
