TATNEFT has won the All-Russia contest "Best Russian Enterprises. Dynamics, Efficiency, Responsibility - 2012. "

The awarding ceremony was held in Moscow at the time of the conference "Creating jobs, employment, investments in the human capital: business and government responsibility" in the frame of the annual "Russian Business Week". The event was attended by Olga Golodets, Vice-Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Government, Maxim Topilin, Minister of Labor and Social Protection, and Mikhail Shmakov, Head of the Russian Federation of Independent Trade Unions.

This contest has been held in different categories among member enterprises of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) since 2008. JSC TATNEFT was named the winner by the results of 2012 in the nomination "For contribution to the solution of demographic development tasks". That honorable title was also awarded to OK "Rusal", JSC "EuroChem" and JSC "Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Company" (JSC "MMK"). The companies had been assessed for their achievements in the implementation of meaningful, socially recognized corporate initiatives, projects and social orientation programs. Inter alia, the selection criteria included companies' investments in the human capital, efficiency of the invested projects and initiatives implemented, as well publicity, possibility of extending the experience outside the enterprise, etc.

Presenting a Diploma to Azat Yagafarov, Deputy General Director and Director of JSC TATNEFT Representative Office in Moscow, Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs pointed out that TATNEFT pursues the socially oriented policy and makes a significant contribution to the development of national programs for health care, education, sports and support of small and medium businesses.

The contest is organized by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP). There were more than 70 major dynamically developing companies representing key sectors of the Russian economy, including JSC "Russian Railways", JSC "Severstal", JSC "LUKOIL" and JSC "Aeroflot" participating in the contest this year.

The Expert Council, composed of representatives of the working bodies and executive staff of the RSPP, had determined the winners and nominees in 8 categories, such as "For the Organization Sustainable Development", "Innovative Company", "For Achievements in Energy Efficiency", "For the Human Potential Development", "For the High Quality of the Company's Sustainable Development Report", "For Social Family Support Programs in the Territories of the Companies Presence", etc.
