A representative of the PJSC TATNEFT's Bugulma Mechanical Plant (BMZ) won the first place in the National Championship 'Young professionals' (WorldSkills Russia) (WorldSkills Russia-2016), held at the 'Crocus Expo' exhibition center (Moscow ).

Linar Minnakhmetov, designing technician of the engineering design service of the PJSC TATNEFT's Bugulma Mechanical Plant took 1st place in the competence 'CAD Engineering Design': an automated system that implements the information technology of executing project planning functions.

It is worth noting that Linar Minnakhmetov won in the same competence of the All-Russian World Skills Championship in Kazan in 2015. This year, he was also the first in the Regional Championship 'WorldSkills Russia', which was held in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan.

WorldSkills is the international non-profit movement, which aims at increasing the prestige of working professions and development of vocational education through harmonizing the best practices and professional standards. The WorldSkills brings together 65 States today.

The championship is held under the joint project of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization 'Agency for Strategic Initiatives to promote new projects', aimed at the formation of an effective mechanism for training of personnel for the high-tech industries of the Russian Federation.

The Bugulma Mechanical Plant was one of the first in the Republic of Tatarstan to start participating in the National Championship.

Also the employees of the PJSC TATNEFT's BMZ plant are trained to qualify as WorldSkills experts. This is an important step to the further development of the WorldSkills movement in the Company. The plans provide for using this experience to train younger participants of the championship.
