The building of the Tatar State Philharmonic Hall n.a. G. Tukaya in the city of Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan) hosted the Gala Concert of the XXIst regional festival of the children's creativity 'Country of the Warbling Nightingale', where the Grand Prix and personal scholarships of TATNEFT Company were conferred.

The traditional contest of young talents of the Tatarstan's oil region is annually organized and conducted by the 'Rukhiyat' of TATNEFT Company.

Rustam Mukhamadeyev, Deputy of Nail Maganov, the Company's General Director, and Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, welcomed the participants and guests of the Gala concert. In his speech, He pointed out in his speech that TATNEFT always supported and would continue participating in the development of young talents in the oil region. High quality education, creation of conditions for the development of creative abilities and healthy lifestyle are the priorities of the Company's social policy.

Diliya Khayrutdinova, Department Head of the professional art and art education of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan thanked TATNEFT for the support of talented children, and wished to the young talents that their successes would always bring joy to those around them.

The following participants were named winners of the Grand Prix: 'Mood' Model Choreographic Team of the Russian Federation (Almetyevsk), 'Freestyle' Dance Theater (city of Almetyevsk), 'Yuldash' Vocal Ensemble (Aznakayevo).

There were 250 children from the oil regions of the Republic of Tatarstan, who participated in the final concert. Upon the whole, there were more than 2 thousand young talents of the southeastern part of the Republic, who took part in the final rounds of the festival 'Country of the Warbling Nightingale'. The selection was carried out from December 2017 to March 2018.

The program of the XХIst festival included the following nominations: 'Vocal (solo)', 'String and Bow Instrument Performers (solo, ensembles)', 'Vocal (ensembles)', 'Electric Musical Instruments Performers (solo) 'Performers on brass and wooden wind and percussion instruments (solo, ensembles)', 'Choreography'.

The jury included recognized people of art of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation, members of the expert council for culture and art of the TATNEFT's grant committee, teachers of the Kazan State Conservatory n.a. N. Zhiganov, the Kazan State Institute of Culture, musical colleges of Almetyevsk and Nizhnekamsk, as well as representatives of creative unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc.

There was also the scholarship awarding ceremony of the 'Country of the Warbling Nightingale' festival held. The annual scholarships instituted in 2011 are every year awarded to 10 students of higher and secondary special educational institutions, who decided to link their lives with art.
