Our South East team has donated £1000 to Rolvenden Primary School to help to improve their outdoor seating area. The financial backing has gone towards a new wooden bench which the school have decorated with bunting, cushions and blankets.

Rolvenden Primary School is a short drive away from ourHalden Fielddevelopment and the donation comes as part of our ongoing commitment to support the communities in which we build our homes. The new seating space will provide more outdoor learning opportunities as well as an alternative area for children to rest and relax between lessons in the summer months.

James Tibbles, Interim Headteacher at Rolvenden Primary School, commented: 'It's fantastic to have a spot where the pupils can enjoy some quiet time especially as the weather begins to get warmer. The donation from Taylor Wimpey has allowed us to provide a fabulous new bench for the pupils and we are really grateful for their support.'

Jason Stokes, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South East, said: 'We were delighted to offer a donation to Rolvenden Primary School. The work we do is a lot more than just building high-quality homes and giving something back to local schools means a great deal to us. It's great to hear that our contribution has been put to good use and I'm sure the children at Rolvenden Primary School will make the most of their new seat over the coming months.'
