Taylor Wimpey : Vicky and Giovanni love the space in their new home

Vicky Wakely and Giovanni De Lucia are enjoying the generous space available to them in their new home at Shoreham Crescent, our sold-out development in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex.

Having previously lived in a two-bedroom bungalow, the couple decided that they would need a little more room to grow following the birth of their daughter, Lily, and made the move to their fabulous new three-bedroom 'Arundel' home in June.

'We were keen to move to a family-sized home to make way for Lily and were looking at developments across the area,' explains Vicky (39). 'We went down to have a look at Shoreham Crescent one Friday evening and we just completely fell in love with it.

'Going from living in a bungalow to living in a three-storey, three-bedroom house has given us lots and lots of new space, and having a much bigger garden is absolutely brilliant.'

Vicky and Giovanni (40) took advantage of the Government's popular Help to Buy scheme, which enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan for up to 20% of the full price of their new home, so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

'Help to Buy made the move much more affordable for us, and the buying process was very smooth,' Vicky continues.

'The sales team were really nice and made everything a lot easier - they even gave a teddy bear to Lily! We're all so happy with life at our new home.'
