Taylor Wimpey : Leeds schools lift off with new springboards

Leeds Gymnastics Club in Seacroft will soon be expanding its primary school programmes after our donation enabled them to purchase brand-new portable equipment.

The club used the donation to invest in inflatable springboards, which will be transported to a number of schools across Leeds and will enhance the current curriculum for children aged seven to 11.

Ross Hill, head of recreational gymnastics at Leeds Gymnastics Club, says: "While the P.E. Key Stage 2 syllabus is extensive, we're always keen to build on existing activities and make them more exciting for young children.

"The inflatable springboards which Taylor Wimpey has kindly funded will allow us to make lessons more dynamic and fun, with exercises such as squat ons, straight jumps, hand springs and somersaults."

With classes for gymnasts at every level, Leeds Gymnastics Club currently serves members of all ages, including toddler right through to adult classes.
