Taylor Wimpey : Somerdale proves perfect for Joe and Sue

"As soon as we heard the site was being developed we knew we wanted to live there. We sold our house and moved into a rented property - we knew we needed to get out of the chain and this way we had the money ready for when Somerdale went on sale.

"On the day they opened the sales office we made sure we were waiting outside - we knew exactly what we wanted so we just walked in and paid our deposit!

"We moved into the house in December and we are really pleased. Our living room overlooks the garden and there are lots of trees outside our dining area which is lovely. The sunrise is beautiful and we always see squirrels running around.

"Somerdale is just so practical for us. It's in the middle of Bath and Bristol and it's so easy to get around. There are lots of pubs and shops within walking distance, and the doctors is close by too.

"We can't fault Taylor Wimpey - they have been great right from the very start and the staff are always on hand to help if we ever need anything. 

"Somerdale ticks all the right boxes for us and it came along just at the right time. It's in a very good location and the plans to redevelop the former factory are great - it's going to be a really nice development once it's finished."
