We're pleased to announce our support for the upcoming Longridge Field Day on Saturday 11 June!

Our Manchester team has provided a £500 donation to fund fencing at the event, which begins at Longridge Civic Hall and continues on the recreational field in the centre of the town.

Bill Houghton, Longridge Field Day President, says: 'We are delighted to receive this donation from Taylor Wimpey. Contributions like this enable us to continue organising this great community event, which is entirely run by volunteers and relies on generous donations from the businesses and residents of Longridge.

'Longridge Field Day is an annual event that brings together the whole community, and the donation will be used to purchase essential items, such as fencing for the arena.'

The event brings together local schools and community groups to engage in a wide range of attractions and events. These include a carnival, a parade, stalls, gymnasts, dancers, musical performances, and football competitions, among other activities.

Chloe Dunn, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Manchester, adds: 'We are very excited to be supporting Longridge Field Day.

'It's clear the event is a key calendar date for the whole community, so it's great to be on board this year.'

Bill concludes: 'On behalf of everyone involved with Longridge Field Day, I would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for this generous donation.'

Taylor Wimpey is currently developing new properties at Tootle Green in Longridge.
