Printing with a higher level of reliability: Cooling solutions made by technotrans for all capacity ranges

technotrans offers cooling solutions for label and package printing applications that enable reliable processes and printing results of consistent, high quality. The company from Sassenberg will present its solutions for all capacity ranges from 25 to 28 September 2017 in hall 9, stand A33, at the Labelexpo in Brussels. The space-saving, customised systems require only minimal maintenance and are particularly characterised by their low level of wear.

Many traditional printing companies keep a close eye on package printing or are even already expanding into this segment. Well-established label and package printing companies, on the other hand, must face this competition. 'The key is to work efficiently while, at the same time, guaranteeing high quality results,' explains Peter Böcker, head of sales at technotrans AG. With its cooling solutions, the company from Sassenberg has been a well-established partner for all major printing machinery manufacturers for several decades. At the Labelexpo, the company will demonstrate that it can also provide perfect solutions for lower and medium cooling capacity ranges. This is possible because the entire technotrans group is a full-line cooling system supplier covering nearly all areas of application.

Series systems for a multitude of different requirements
The products of the omega.line series are high-performance cooling units for individual machines and completely cover the demand of digital printing presses. This is made possible by solutions that may seem rather simple at first, for example an air filter with an aluminium mesh fabric that is particularly easy to clean and makes additional filter material obsolete. The smartchiller product series is used for the efficient cooling of digital printing presses for the lower to medium capacity range, thereby increasing the profit of the users. 'For all types of application, our customers can rely on our advice and support from the project planning phase up to the actual commissioning of the systems,' explains Peter Böcker.

Automated coating circulation
Coating units in printing presses are often supplied without a suitable coating circulation system. These types of coating units, which are only equipped with pumps, do not fulfil today's requirements in terms of professional finishing. With the alpha.v and zeta.v series, technotrans presents coating circulators that can supply the coating units with both dispersion and UV coating. It is irrelevant whether the coating unit is equipped with a chamber doctor blade or rollers.

Innovative ideas for improved production
The brand new 19' rack-mount coolers with a high power density, which were introduced for the first time at the beginning of this year, ensure consistent temperature conditions for particularly compact systems. All of this is made possible thanks to a compact, speed-controlled double-chamber ring piston compressor. With the aid of air humidification and conditioning systems, technotrans also ensures optimum climatic conditions in cooperation with Merlin Technology.
