VADS Berhad (VADS), Malaysia's leading Managed Integrated ICT/BPO Service Provider today officially launched the nation's first Cloud exchange namely VADS Marketplace - an online store offering Business-To-Business (B2B) Cloud-hosted solutions - supported by a one-stop omnichannel customer engagement centre.

VADS Marketplace offers business owners and organisations a wide selection of innovative digital business solutions which are convenient and user-friendly to enhance their operation efficiency and business productivity thus increasing profitability. It is enabled by the VADS Cloud eXchange, a platform established by VADS to meet customers' needs in managing multi-cloud hosted solution.

The VADS Marketplace was launched by Tan Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa, Group Chief Executive Officer, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM). Massimo Migluiolo, Chief Executive Officer of VADS was also present at the event.

In his speech, Tan Sri Zamzamzairani said, 'The VADS Marketplace is one of the strategic drivers for TM Group's transformation journey to Go Digital. We put emphasis on delivering an enhanced customer experience via continuous customer service quality improvements and innovations, whilst focusing on increased operational efficiency and productivity. It is an example of how our digital transformation changes the way we serve our customers. For example, while it used to take up to a few weeks to fulfil customer's orders, with Marketplace, orders can be delivered almost instantly. This way, we are also assisting business owners to embark on their own digital transformation.'

It is a one-stop centre where customers will be able to acquire Cloud solutions from well-known global players as well as local independent software vendors (ISVs). During the event, members of the media were also given a preview of the VADS Twin Core Data Centres (TCDCs), VADS Core Data Centre in Iskandar Puteri, Johor and VADS Klang Valley Core Data Centre in Cyberjaya which will be operational in 2017. ​

The TCDCs are designed and built with similar capacity, standards and service offerings. They provide an enhanced level of disaster planning for companies that wish to set up their regional infrastructure as well as enable enterprises to consolidate their infrastructure and optimise operational expenditure.
