Telenor has on 10 November 2017 purchased 175,664 own shares at an average price
of NOK 172.85 per share. After this transaction, Telenor owns a total of
6,379,131 own shares.
The transaction is part of the share buyback programme announced by Telenor on
17 July 2017. The buyback programme comprises up to 30 million shares, of which
some 13.8 million shares will be repurchased in the market. The rest will be
purchased from the Kingdom of Norway through the Ministry of Trade, Industry and
Fisheries on a proportionate basis, so that the Ministry's current ownership
interest in Telenor of 53.97 % will remain unaffected.
