Tenaris will participate in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC). The event takes place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, November 10-13.

In booth #4210, Hall 4, Tenaris will showcase its wide range of high performance products and will focus on the latest investments made in the region and the long-term commitment with the energy industry in the Middle East.

Tenaris technical specialists will be on site during the four days of the event to present the benefits provided by Dopeless® technologyincluding improved safety, environmental protection and rig timing.  Dopeless® technology is a dry, multifunctional coating that makes thread compounds obsolete. It is applied at Tenaris mills around the world, in a fully automatic process, guaranteeing the exact amount of lubricant is applied.

Tenaris specialists will also present the following TenarisHydril premium connections:

  • TenarisHydril Wedge Series 600™ connections are designed for the most critical operations, including deepwater and high-pressure applications, and are tested to the highest standards.
  • TenarisHydril Blue® Seriesconnections are also designed for the most challenging exploration and production operations. They have been tested under the highest industry standards and represent the perfect choice for drilling in high pressure, high temperature environments.

Since 2010, when Tenaris's Eastern Hemisphere headquarters were established in Dubai, the company has considerably increased its presence in the Middle East. A state-of-the-art threading facility was opened in 2010 in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, to serve customers throughout the region, and was expanded in 2011 with a service yard and dedicated Dopeless® technology threading line. In 2012 Tenaris also established a service center in Rumaila, Iraq, while new offices were opened in Doha, Qatar, and Erbil, Kurdistan. The Dammam plant is currently being expanded to increase its annual capacity froml 50 thousand tons up to 110 thousand tons in 2015.
