Tenaris will be present at the 2015 SPE IADC Drilling Conference, in London from March 17 to 19. The conference will focus on the advances in drilling operations, covering topics such as tubulars, well technology and field development.

In booth #706 Tenaris will specifically highlight the TenarisHydril Blue® Series and Wedge Series 600™ premium connections through samples, videos and brochures. Representatives will also be on site to receive visitors, answer their questions, and clarify any technical aspects of our products and services.

Tenaris recently provided the TenarisHydril Blue® Quick Seal connection to the Swedish independent oil and gas company Lundin Petroleum for their A-11 well in the Edvard Grieg field in the North Sea. All the connections supplied for this project came with Dopeless® technology.

Dopeless® technology is a dry multifunctional coating that eliminates the need to apply running compound.  The exact amount of lubricant is applied to each connection in a fully automatic process directly at Tenaris mills worldwide. Dopeless® technology was developed by Tenaris more than 10 years ago to provide a solution to a major oil company operating in the North Sea. More than 5 million feet of pipes with Dopeless® technology have been run in the North Sea and Scandinavia to this date.
