Tenaris S.A. : Tenaris to participate at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi

Tenaris will highlight its commitment to the Middle East oil and gas industry participating for the third consecutive time in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), one of the most important oil and gas shows in the region, which takes place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, November 10 through November 13.

In booth #5320, in Hall 5, Tenaris technical specialists will be available to present and discuss Tenaris's wide range of high performance products for the most challenging oil and gas projects, including Dopeless® technology and TenarisHydril connections.

Dopeless® technology is a dry, multifunctional coating that makes thread compounds obsolete. It is applied at Tenaris mills around the world, in a fully automatic process, guaranteeing that the exact amount of lubricant is applied. Tenaris experts will showcase the many benefits provided by Dopeless® technology in terms of safety, environment protection and rig timing.

TenarisHydril premium connections incorporate the technology required to face a wide spectrum of drilling challenges in the most demanding applications.

• TenarisHydril Wedge Series 500™ connections are specifically designed for E&P operations where torque strength is critical, and represent the perfect choice in demanding oil and gas applications from highly deviated wells to strings that must be rotated and pushed into place.
• TenarisHydril Wedge Series 600™ connections are designed for the most critical operations, as deepwater and high-pressure applications, and to be tested to the highest standards.

• TenarisHydril Blue® Series connections are designed for the most challenging E&P operations. They have been tested under the highest industry standards, and will continue to do so under the forthcoming revision of the API RP 5C5 Testing Protocol. Tenaris has grown considerably in the Middle East since the establishment of its Eastern Hemisphere headquarters in Dubai in July 2010. Later that year a state-of-the-art threading facility was opened in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, to serve customers throughout the region. The plant recently expanded with a service yard and a dedicated Dopeless® technology threading line, and in 2012 Tenaris also established a service center in Rumaila, Iraq, close to Basra.
