Tenaris will be participating in the New Zealand Petroleum Congress in Auckland on March 20-22, to promote the benefits of TenarisHydril Dopeless® technology for different onshore and offshore operations in the Asia Pacific and Oceania region.

In recent years, drilling has become increasingly challenging in both onshore and offshore environments prompting the development of more efficient and effective technologies. Dopeless® technology is a dry-multifunctional coating applied in a fully automatic process at Tenaris mills, making operations more efficient. Running times are reduced up to 25%, lessening the environmental footprint and minimizing risk and costs for E&P operators. Based on customer experience, a well with 100% Dopeless casing and tubing will produce a 10% savings of the total pipe cost due to increased rig time efficiency.

At the event, Hamzah Muhammad, Tenaris Technical Sales Coordinator for the Asia Pacific region, will present 'Extending the use of Dope-free connections technology in drilling operations' Monday, March 21 at 11:35 AM.
