New Teo Internet plans for business: safer, faster and instantly

IT and telecommunications company Teo presented 4 new fiber-optic Internet business plans and a possibility to have the Internet installed in one day. Increased speed and a special IT security package integrated in each plan will assure connection quality for Teo business customers and protect them against thefts of sensitive data, viruses and spam.

'Businesses need three things: speed, stability and security. The new Teo plans provide companies with a possibility not only to choose speed adapted for large amounts of data, but also an integrated protection of IT systems', - said Petteri Ahonen, Head of Business Customers Department at Teo and Omnitel.

In addition to the fastest plan of 600 Mb/s 'Business XL', Teo also provides a possibility to choose from plans 'Business S', 'Business M' and 'Business L', which allow browsing the net at the speed of 40 Mb/s, 100 Mb/s and 300 Mb/s.

All the new plans have an integrated IT system protection, which protects the company's network and sensitive data from their theft or damage, hacking, viruses, malicious Internet links and spam.

Along with its new plans for business, Teo also allows companies to use 4G+ modem until the fiber-optic Internet is installed. 'Successful business development requires Internet from the very first day: having moved to new offices or only started the construction thereof. This benefit rendered to businesses is a result of synergy between Teo and Omnitel' - said P. Ahonen.

The number of next generation Teo fiber access customers increased by 12.2 percent during the year and totalled 235 000 at the end of June of 2016. According to the data of RRT, Omnitel mobile communication network having 1000 base 4G stations is the largest and fastest network in Lithuania.
