Terna: nomina direttore amministrazione, finanza e controllo e nuovo dirigente preposto

Terna confirms that starting from 3 August Mr. Agostino Scornajenchi is joining the Terna Group and that in the context of the reorganisation of the Group starting from 1 September 2017 he will assume the role of Head of Administration, Finance and Control, currently held by Tiziano Ceccarani, who is destined to hold another important assignment within the Group.

The Chief Executive Officer Luigi Ferraris, on behalf of the entire Company, wishes to thank Mr. Ceccarani for his work.

The Board of Directors of Terna S.p.A. has assigned to Mr. Scornajenchi - given that he has the requisites provided for in Article 21.4 of the Bylaws and having first obtained the favourable opinion of the Board of Statutory Auditors - the role of Executive in Charge of preparing the company's accounting documents under the terms of Article 154-bis of Italian Legislative Decree no. 58 of 1998, a position also held up to now by Tiziano Ceccarani, starting from 1 September 2017.

Born in Rome in 1972, with a degree in Economics and Business, Agostino Scornajenchi comes from Poste Italiane where, among numerous activities, he followed as Group Planning and Control Manager the listing of the company on the stock exchange. Previously he was CFO of GDF Suez Italia, the holding of the French Group's business in Italy and Greece, for which he managed among other things the work on restructuring the debt of Tirreno Power, and CFO of Acea Electrabel (joint venture between the Italian company Acea and the Belgian Electrabel). In addition, in the past he held several positions of responsibility in the context of the Administration and Control Department of Enel Group companies.
