As of today, more than 10,000 pieces of information about Terna's work are even easier to access from any electronic device

Terna confirms its commitment, investing more to provide a concrete contribution in spreading a culture of legality and transparency. One year after its initial launch and thanks to the efforts of 50 dedicated resources, Cantieri Aperti & Trasparenti - the website entirely dedicated to the construction sites for electricity infrastructure in Italy - has become even more interactive, dynamic and quicker. Moving the mouse over the map of Italy found on the homepage, with two clicks users can see all the activities under way in each of the 20 regions, as well as details relative to the € 2 million of Terna's current investments.

The new website includes the possibility of carrying out multiple searches by region, construction site, line, building, cable or electrical substation, with further information provided about the type and number of tenders and subcontracts and their relative economic value. Users can also navigate by individual field: by contract, company, type of works, type of construction site, contractors and subcontractors, with even more economic details subdivided by project, contract and region.

This has made the details for every tender and subcontract relative to over 176 Terna construction sites located throughout Italy available to all, including the names of the 353 companies working on them, which employ 4,000 workers each day. And now the information is also available on any electronic device. In addition, the new look is even more dynamic and intuitive and makes it quicker to access all information, improving clarity for users.

'After having started a fruitful and effective collaboration with Guardia di Finanza, we have been the first in Italy to complete a project like 'Cantieri Aperti & Trasparenti' -states Giuseppe Lasco, Director of the Corporate Affairs Division at Terna- and now, a year later, we have further improved it with more information with a focus on integrated security. This is a demonstration of our commitment to the culture of legality and transparency, both of which are fundamental principles for Terna and for relaunching our country's development'.

During its first 12 months, Cantieri Aperti & Trasparenti established itself as a solid work and communication tool, useful and acquired by all the stakeholders involved in the creation of Terna's electricity infrastructure. This fact is confirmed by the large number of accesses, which have remained constant over time, demonstrating its efficiency as a work tool.

Cantieri Aperti & Trasparentiis the first and only online portalthat allows all citizens, as well as businesses, to 'get inside' Terna to check on the progress of works for major infrastructure projects, as well as the economic focus, number of companies that participated in tenders, and the names of the companies that were assigned the work.

The project is the result of Terna's voluntary and responsible commitment to guarantee ever greater security for companies and society as a whole, doing its part to support a cultural transition towards legality and transparency. Cantieri Aperti & Trasparenti is still an IT tool that is one of a kind, designed by a company that operates nationwide, with dozens of viewable pages and over 10,000 pieces of information, that are continually updated. A new and simple approach, in step with the most innovative web technologies, to find every tracked detail for Terna's individual construction sites, from contracts to tenders and, for the first time in Italy, it includes data regarding subcontractors.

Terna has been on this road for a while and has been able to choose the path of 'Integrated Security', also through the development of synergies and protocols with institutions, making all information relative to projects under way available on its website.
